Monthly News (from Pete Bond) 1. Round 9 Highlights " No holes in one this month but some equally enthralling stuff, especially at the top. With Dynasty going into the day leaders, hotly chased by Shenanigans, sparks were sure to fly, and fly they did. Great play by Shenanigans saw Matt's team taking the 3 points with a 4 -1 victory. Shenanigans lept 2 places, Dynasty slipped 5 - its that tight at the top. GCL starting the day in second position completed a 5 - 1 demolition of Lords, took the 3 points and go joint top with twenty points. Good result for Nigel, but Lords remain in 10th position. Joining GCL at the top none other than Londoners, who, under the truly inspired leadership of Bruce pulled off a 5 -1'er against Donal's Lighthouse. Up from 5th to 4th position, Larry's Dive with a steady win over Wanderers. Only 2 points off the top, Larry's Dive still shouldn't be written off for a podium finish. Scandinavians made it three in a row with a victory over Gee Gee's - taking 5 out of the 6 games. And just to show its tight at the bottom as well, O'Reilly's crashed 0 - 6 to B.C. Churchill to join GG's on a grand total of 3 points both with a diferential of -23. With O'Reilly's meeting GG's in November, could be big changes at the bottom as well as the top."
