Very good and challenging course. Layout and atmostphere is very nice. Weekday promotional green fee + caddy (850 Baht) is worth to pay. Clubhouse is new and clean. I will definitely come back.

Played today. Last played before the summer there are some changes which the admin here should ring them about: price hikes, concessions for Thai golfer card etc. It is very easy to get to the course from downtown Bangkok being only 6Km from leaving the expressway at Sri Samaan, 15 minutes with a wait at lights to at Tiwanon Road before crossing the river. A good run now that the Airport is closed the Northern area is much improved making the Meuang Ake courses viable from downtown also but Chuan Cheun is easier to get to. the greens on the front nine were a bit rough; hollow tineing not very well done, just a few holes per square metre and sanded. How long the sand will take to get below I don't know. 960Bt before 1000 and you are made to feel very welcome. few players so try to find a partner I am available for a round of bogey golf anytime.

Not bad. Caddy wasn't the greatest. The clubhouse could use some work. Good deal on weekdays.

Caddies are friendly and knowledgable but little english. During the week always a great place to play. Weekends too many weekend warriors without manners and no marshall presence does not help. Go during the week and be challenged, deceptively difficult course

played weekday in april 2008. Went there with taxi. Hard to find coz just one big sign on the highway. Speed of play was terrible due to 5some in front. Caddy friendly but only bcoz i do talk some thai otherwise no need to ask for assistance. Green- and fairway condition moderate (as anywhere around Bkk it seems). Locker room very old. Reception staff (on telephone for tee-off reservation) not really friendly. And they would not tell me that there are promotion days (lower greenfee) available as well. I won't return but rather think about heading to Pattaya for a golfing day (with 1 night stay. Pattaya itself sucks but by means of golf its much better value for money than Bkk*). *for those of you interested: become a member of Pattaya SportsClub and greenfee will be much cheaper on almost all of the PTY courses.

A pleasant course with lots of trees and water. The fairways are narrow in places so accurate hitting is required. I've played Chuan Chuen a few times and have always enjoyed it.

Fantastic course at 1000 to 1600 Tbat. Better layout than most of the 3000-5000 Tbat cources I have played in Bangkok, Faldo knows how to play and evidently how to make an interesting course, no two holes alike.
