I played this course on 11th November 2006 after having played at the Chiangmai Highland course the previous day. Absolutely the contrast of heaven and hell. The fairways are very narrow with hidden hazards that punish good tee-off. Definitely not recommended for tourists who are recreation golfers as this course will be a torture to play. Fairways are mixtures of grass and greens are small. The locals generally on this course are loud and slow without any courtesy to let faster players through. Clubhouse is very basic. I paid 2,000 baths for green fee and 200 baths for caddie - definitely not worth the price unless you are desparate and this is the only course that will admit you....

Played this course today ... well, what a surprise. The course is in the best shape ever, New management, keep up the good work as you are working on a winner. This course is fantastic and i retract everything i said about it (except for a fact that the previous owner/manager was definitely a loser)... it is funny that good work for a few months can change a course. Kudos, but please keep up ! if i had the time, i play there everyday...

I played this course on a Sunday in early Dec. As we were six balls, we asked to play together and it was granted on condition that we took buggies. I reluctantly agreed cos it cost us a total of 2650 B per pax. When we got onto the blue tees, we were chased off by a fierce female caddy mistress, who in her mixture of Thai and English, told us we could play blue only if everyone could carry a 260-yard fairway bunker. What a condition!!!! So we played white and it was good too bec the blue tees were over-whelming. The second hole I will always remember - a forest in front to carry with a wood, after which there a short landing zone about 190 yds from tee box, then a huge bunker awaits. On the right of the forest, a stream. Real signature hole!

The nicest course I played in Chiang Mai and one of my favorite courses ever. The greens were lighting fast and the course requires precision. Every hole is different and requires some thinking. Pace was good in the afternoon during the week. Caddies were so-so and the clubhouse not as nice as the price would indicate.

Tight course where you really have to think your way around. I keep the driver in the bag most of the time. Slick greens & the fairways at the moment are very good. However the bunkers are poor. It has just been taken over so expect changes. Great value as they often have deals during low season. Give it a go!

Based ourselves at the neighbouring hotel for a week's golf but moved after 2 days - says a lot. Course lay out is very challenging and the sloping greens are lightning quick (11 on the stint meter per the Club). Course condition (excluding greens) is poor. Insuffiecient sprinklers means very dry areas and choking dust clouds and bunkers have little or no sand for the most part. Caddies know their stuff and are friendly as well (bidying the 10th cheerd mine up a lot!). For an established club the Club house is a big let down and as foreign tourists we were made to feel that all they cared about was getting our money. The Highlands (15 minutes away) blows this place out the water

When they rebuilt this golf course to make another 'american style' layout with large inviting fairways for long hitters they most probably forgot to invest in a proper drainage system as the course is literally unplayable during rainy season. The fairways are very muddy and as they still insist in cutting the grass with heavy machinery they increasingly become a sorry sight. We will wait for the dry season to go back, maybe, but at 190bt a large heineken in the club house i can understand why no-one hang around there after a round of golf ...
