Seems i posted so high score. Sure! cos the courses 1-2 designer and developer is my grandpa! who has passed away for many years ago. I was born in 1972, 1st year of the course development and grew up in Chiang Mai. So i spent time of my childhood in Lanna Golf Course for years. i had 1st time playing golf here since i was 13 and my coach was grandpa for sure. Now i play golf at least once a week, at many golf courses in BKK and upcountry but always happy and proud to play here at Lanna cos it seems we grow up together and my childhood with grandpa come in to my mind. I hope u all enjoy to be here naka..^_^

Fairway ground is very hard in course 1 and 2 but couse 3 is ok. Greens are small and not too fast. Nevertheless the green fee is too expensive when compare to other courses in Chiengmai.

Gentlemen, I had a very enjoyable golf experience! Played while on vacation Feb 10-17, 2004. Course in good playable condition, fairways and greens particularly well maintained. Caddies did a fine job, always repair divots and good advice on planning shots. Good hospitality and food at the clubhouse. Fun playing around the race track, too. I'll be back again next year! Thanks to the staff.

Very nice course. If You never have played night golf try it. One more dimension. Fun to play. Caddie 333 superb.

A very enjoyable course, and one of the best deal in Chiangmai. Layout is quite challenging with large trees lining most fairways. Fairways and Greens are generally well kept. Greens tend to be a bit slow. View of Doi Suthep visible from most holes is unforgetable.

Played here on May 2 2006. Played the new nine and the 2nd old course. Old course is superb old stlye golf - quite tight with beautiful mature trees. New 9 average only - still too new but the greens were excellent. For the price, great value and so close to town. Caddies very inexperienced.

I played this course on a Monday - bad day to pick - sports day - only 300 baht plus 200 baht for the caddie. I thought that was a pretty good price. The clubhouse is a bit mixed up. Pay green fee at the office then get a ticket for the lockers somewhere else. The lockers are hidden behind the shower room!! The food was nothing to write home about, but it did fill the hole. Waited 45 minutes at the 1st tee for tee off, then played in a group of 6. AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH. The round took 6 (yes thats right) 6 long hours. Waited 10 - 15 mins to tee off at each hole. The course is nice and a challenge but they need to look at the tee off and slow play situation. My caddy wasn't very informational. In fact i had to ask every single time for distances and any hazzards.

Play here regularly & it's good value. It can hold the water a bit so often no run on the ball. Greens on course 1 & 2 are all raised so if it's particularly wet the ball can plug around the green. Fairways are average. Not a difficult course to play, but the main downside is that it's the closest to town & gets very busy, leading to sloooow play!

Fairways are coarse Asian grass and your ball will often not sit up even in middle of fairway. Greens will not hold most approach shots. Can get busy as is it good value on sports days Mon.+Fri. 500THB with caddie. Caddies can vary, they seem knowledgeable but you have to ask for information. The racetrack nine has better greens but little shade. The most unrewarding and frustrating course I've ever played.
