A classic course, and a must! Our caddies were cheerful and helpful, and undertook some instruction, and offered useful advise during the round. Maybe not appreciated by everybody, but we actually improved our game during this round. Apleasant course, that we will return to. No water hazards makes it easy on the golfballs!

It is a real golf course. I like it very much. It is worth your money to play here. Green and fairway are in the good condition except for the first hole. Caddies are very experienced and very friendly. We were enjoyed playing here. Club house is under renovation at the time I played. Highly recommended for intermediate and above. It is quite difficult for beginner (esp. who could not use driver or 2-3 irons). T-Off date August 18, 01.

A proper golf course without the modern madness for water hazards everywhere. Used to be very dry and unwatered but is now ok - unfortunately they're spending money on cart paths rather than a built in irrigation system. Greens are good and a lot smaller than the modern norm. Old trees everywhere, which penalize fairly without losing your balls - not much rough though. I like it - reminds me of an old english kind of course, complete with odd two par3's in a row.... fun! coops

Played on Friday 14th August. Being wet season I expected to find the fairways in good condition, however, they were not much better than dry season condition (i.e., a few bare patches with no grass in some areas). The challenge of this course are th emany mature trees, and the slightly bumpy greens. Scenery and location are ideal. Good caddies who knew their stuff well.

Prices are relatively high compared to rest of Thailand but that is the nature/ magic of Hua Hin. Beautiful natural course with virtually no water and fairways/greens were quite well maintained. Played course two times during mid September 2003. Both times on week days and thus no crowds. Apparently some of the Thai pros like to play here and use the driving range as we saw one of the top Thai pros practicing both days we were there. Having a driving range is great way to warm up. Greens were excellent and the scenery is hard to beat. Caddies were okay but on the first day we had a talker who liked to comment on every swing, every hole that became grating after a few holes. Would definitely play here again. Locker rooms were okay and they have an air pressure hose to clean your shoes but the locker attendants do NOT clean golf shoes (unusual for Thailand). Locker room looked like it was in good condition (recently remodeled??).
