The worst greens I have ever played on. And they knew a competition was going to be played there. I will never play here again and will encourage people to go elsewhere.

Definitely one of the best in Thailand condition wise - quite challenging as well. Staff/speed of play were a bit of a let down though

GREAT!! Is this the best course in Thailand? Perfect conditions and a great design. No doubt - a true golfing experience!!

This course was DA BOMB! I played with a pro from the US who said this was one of the best courses he's played in Thailand if not the best. NO ONE was on when we played on Thursday last week. Play from the tips and you will enjoy getting rocked.

Overall good except for the price. The marshall was excellent in keeping the pace of play acceptable to all in spite of the busy weekend crowd. Price makes it difficult to recommend to friends.

Played A/B on Sat 30th Jan during the afternoon. The course was in splendid condition, and was not busy.

Played A/B courses on Sunday 8th March. C course was closed for maintenance. Pace of play was good notwithstanding temporary closure of C course. I played as a pair with my wife, however, we were paired up with 2 strangers (including a 9 y/old boy) to make a foursome. Unfortunately the boy was too young to follow golf etiquette so his noise was distracting. A warning, be wary of stone in bunkers...my new mizuno sandwedge now has a dent in it due to concealed stones in one of the bunkers. I noticed that for non-members, inline with other clubs in Hua Hin the green fee has been reduced to 2,500 baht (there is also a cheaper afternoon rate).

A good golfing experience but not worth the money. You can get the same or better for alot less nearby in Hua Hin area. Fairways had alot of standing water when I played. Caddies made alot of unwelcome and unrequested comments about our play. Best part of the experience was the clubhouse.

Played during a weekend of June 2003, the course is in its best condition. Having long and challenging fairways with lots of water hazards and deep fairway bunkers required the discipline well planed drives from the Tee to green. Fast and furious greens are well protected by water hazards and lots of bunkers. Beautiful scenario through out all 18 holes you can enjoy. Rough are not too tough to get of out it which is the only forgiveness in this course. Well trained caddy and staffs. But if you played early morning, bring your own refreshment. The half way houses were only open after 9 AM. Or else you will be dehydrated. Clubhouse is fine. Not many golfers even in the weekend, due to the price. It is highly recommended if you can afford it.

Played on 22 Aug 08. My first time in Springfield and played the Mountain & Valley courses. The course is generally good. Not too difficult and couple holes (Hole 2 Par 5, Hole 6 Par 3, Hole 8 Par 5) are interesting in the Mountain course. The Valley course is on plain. My caddie is so green and probably not well trained yet. Not much help, and she's not enjoying her job as well. Anyway, it doesn't matter as it's my game. During the Valley course, the flight in front of us played slowly while the flight behind us are Pro level. Every time we step on the green, the flight behind us are waiting for us. No fun at all for us and them. We let them pass since the 4th hole The clubhouse is pretty old. What annoyed me is both shampoo and bath gel organizers are empty in the bathing room. Haven't tried their food as we have a better plan at Chao-Lay. In general, the course is not bad. The promotion outside BKK Taniya Plaza has set my expectation high. Coupled with I played at Black Mountain the day before, the experience becomes bogey level. It's good we played during Golf Festival. And the green fee is 800B. Compared with the normal green fee, we have nothing to lose.
