Played Aug 26 teed off 1:40 finished at 5:45. Seemed a lot slower due to the Koreans who refuse to join anyone, even other Korean groups. One hit into us off the tee, he won't do that again. Marshalls are not effective, but they will go get you a beer if you see one. Greens perfect, fairways a bit hard but very good and very good rolls. Caddies 271 and 272 very good. Ocean recovering from green punching but rolling very fast and true. Fairly priced.

Enjoyable golf course, played over a two day weekend. Excellent club house, good food, beverages expensive by Thai golf club standards. Fairways good , greens fair to good ,very different on our back 9 , Caddies not too good ,or maybe I just got the wrong ones ,personally I only want a caddy to carry the bag ,and in some cases give me distance and if there is trouble in my line. This was even too much for one ,always way behind ,couldnt give me distance ,even in Thai, after my tee shot then tell me there is water down there ,not too happy. Bunkers ,please tell me what or where the sand comes from ,lost ball in a bunker Humm ,decided day two not to get in the sand. All in all enjoyable course ,nice club house ,with good facilities ,please train the caddies ,and this will ensure all have a good day out.

This isn't a course I would travel long distances miles to play, but thats probably a reflection on the many other good courses around. As its only a few miles from Pattaya its well worth the trip. It has been improving all the time over the last few years and is now one of the better courses. Its a good course for learners/improvers as its not that punishing and you can usually get a badly hit ball back in play fairly easily. The caddies are hit and miss, some great ones some just learning but overall pretty good. The facilties are as good as anywhere, and they have the best 'hire clubs' around - usually Taylor Mades latest - (maybe not the R7 though)

An excellent course with a mix of holes that must be played differently, some you can go for it and some must be played with thought. Greens were some of the truest I have ever putted and my caddy #045 read them really well. I have played many 4 & 5 star courses in America and this is right up there with them. My only complaint would be some maintenance issues in the rough areas, but I shouldn't have been there anyway.

This is the first time I played at Phoenix Golf and Country Club and I played consecutively for two days on all three courses. The fairways are wide and depsite of the undulating, it is not very difficult in the approach toward the green. The fairways at Ocean Course were well maintained. All greens are well kept and the green does make the ball runs. The facilities are well maintained and no one will believe it is a ten years old club. The staff are polite and the lockers are simply good! The caddies are experienced and able to give good advise and they know the couses well. As a tourist, I think the green fee is well pegged against the conditions of the course and its facilities. Keep it up the standard and I will visit again and also recommend friends to play there.

Played the course 4 times in Jan 2007. Enjoyed every minute of it. Found the green to be very hard to read, but my great caddy (# 354) thru all 4 rounds, made it much easier. Overall very good service and food.
