The arrival was soemehat chatoic as it waqs clear that it was really busy. I found the pro shop staff very nice and friendly. I also bought a few shirts as they are nice and well priced. I have been to so many bad pro shops in Thailand and norally never bother. The lockers are nice and before I teed off I had lunch with my golf friends. I did not know what to expect as all the other clubs in Hua Hin offer just noodle soup and poor menus. I had a club sandwich, my freinds had a Banyan Burger, if I had known the food was goint to be as good as this I would not have had breakfast. The course was very busy, the starter was brilliant and put us on hole 10 to avoid traffic. I love the GPS - Why dont all the courses do it ? Caddies were great they obviously take care of bunkers and greens. When we arrived at 15 kiosk there was a noisy generator but what a hole ! as we made the turn after 9 hole 4 was tough - a long par 3 across water. It's long as we played bluee tee and wind in front. Anyway, after the game I meet the GM, very freindly and knows our club pro very well. We all enjoy very uch Banyan Tree and will come back again next time

Everythting was first class , best caddies in Hua Hin and great course conditions, pins were fair. 17 green needs rethinking. Other than this - one of the best courses I have played in Thailand.

Course is looking great - a few soggy bits but other than that perfect. Played here many times and the condition is getting better. Still some work to be done with caddies. Always enjoy playing here.

I played for the first time on August 21, 2010. With promotion green fee of 999 baht and a cloudy day, it was a nice setup for a great round of golf. Everything was ruined by the caddy. She was the worst I have ever had a round with in my 12 years. I managed to put the ball pin-high on hole 2, par 3, just to hear a comment that I will later bogey this hole ( I par it though). On the next hole, I asked her for where to aim on this par 5 but pulled my tee shot to the left. Suddenly following my tee shot, she chatted with her fellow caddy that I asked so much details but put the ball into the jungle. Then, I talked to my friend about replacing this caddy with a new one, but I have never done before and didn't. She then started to behave. Still, there were disturbing comments from time to time. An interesting one would be when I managed to hole out from 40 feet for birdie, the comment was how come this went in when I missed a lot of short ones. At the end of the day, I lost six balls and shot 90. Still a nice round for weekend golfer, but it was not a good experience. It was a pity for such a good course to let one poor caddy ruin the client's day.

Probably my favourite golf course in Hua Hin and Thailand, I have enjoyed numerous rounds at Banyan since they opened. However in recent visit I have noticed standards beginning to slip. Most noticeably on a recent visit, following a misunderstanding with the pro-shop that led to us teeing off as a 5 ball, we had to replace 1 caddie because of her aggressive and rude behaviour, this then resulted in another caddie being generally unfriendly, unhelpful and giving off a negative vibe throughout the following 17 holes. Back in the Clubhouse restaurant we found the normally excellent service standards to have also slipped somewhat - slow service, some comdey service moments and one dish that had to be returned because it was inedible! For what is essentially a 5,000+Baht round of golf when u factor in net green fees, tips, drinks & food, then sadly Banyan is failing to deliver. Banyan still remains one of my favourite course though and I hope to continue playing there; the course condition was as usual fantastic.

Good arrangements for our golf tournament. It was a total success and especially the wine dinner was praised by everyone. They said they had never experienced the like in such a nice setting. Also your course was deemed the best of the courses played, which were Palm Hills, Majestic, Black Mountain and Suan Son. The promotional dispaly of our name in the poster and score cards is a nice touch. Now all 22 visitors have returned to the snow and cold in Sweden. Thank you

Great place and impressed with the course conditions. Loved everything except caddie a bit of a novice and compulsory cart - please make it option! Other than that - great.

It was my first time at Banyan and I thought it was fantastic. Course in great condition. Good challenging layout with big sloping greens. Views from the tees are brilliant. If you havent played it then go now. After 3pm deal is great with the long evenings and lack of crowds at this time of year. I will be back many times - better than Black Mountain for me.

Absolutely fantastic - what a course. In great condition and great low season price. Wish I was a member here because I could play this everyday.
