I returned to play this course after a four year gap and must say I was quite impressed. They are actually trying their best to fix up the course. They have even switched the course around so that the old 10th is now the 1st and the old first is now the 10th (not sure why) although the new first is a much more attractive opening hole now. Greens at 9, 10 amd 18 and temporary as they install new greens at each hole which does make a mockery of your score a little but a least shows the club cares about the course condition. I played two times arriving at 7.30 am on both occasions and with cart was finished both days by 10.00 am. Very fast by Thai standards. Caddies wre OK. A bit old looking and English was pretty poor. Also on weekdays the cost was only 1,500 baht (green fee, caddie fee and cart)

a mature course with narrow tree lined fairways, and no second chance to make par if the drive is wayward, this is a great challenge to get around in net par. play in the afternoon with the sun setting and long shadows from the trees, the ambiance as one approaches the clubhouse is as good as any other course in Bkk (excepting unique Kantarrat). relatively small elevated greens make for tough approaches so no lucky shots on this course. a little bit more maintenance would help since the course drains very well and it can be rock hard in the dry season. worth agreeing to preferred lies/winter rules with your partners to avoid too much bad luck. develop Royal Lakeside fairways and Lam Lukka greens, this layout would be the up there with the best! the open air restaurant, amber nectar and good food make for an enjoyable and relaxing end to the day if you've fought hard for every shot and played preparing to fight for your best score. If you only want to "practice" at Unico, because you know the course is too tough to overcome and admit what you score, then forget it, go to the driving range, you're missing the point of what golf is all about.

Pretty decent golf course, especially if you are a beginner (like myself)... course not too hard, with large fairways, though water hazard usually there on the sides of each hole... after 3 pm prices go down from 1600 (green fee) to around 740 baht, so with caddy fee total only around 940 baht, which is great when you take note of the convenient location. The caddies dont speak much english (only a couple of words)and although some are very helpful, just as many arnt all that great... though mostly polite.

Not the best maintained golf course in Bangkok, but I actually find it quite fun and very close to where I live which is a bonus. The layout is tight and the greens are small so it is a bit of challenge. Fairways get very boggy in the rainy season.

not worth coming even though it's near. Caddy STOLE money from our wallets which we put in the golf bag. Yes we might be to careless at this point but most of us put inside there right? Caddies stole one thousand notes from 2 of us. By the time we realized, we already out of the course dinner outside. Try to call to the manager but not in da whole time. It worked as a gang so better play somewhere else. The course had no standard n care enough to do somethings other than that's all we can help! Suck it mannn!

This course is still on construction and may be completed soon. With the renovation made, they raised green fees a lot. 1,600 baht for weekend(which was 1,180) is quite high compared with fairway and green conditions. In rainy seasons, there so many casual hazards and draining ditches on the fairways. Not drained well. Some greens are covered with sands to protect the greens during rainy season, I guess. Despite of these weak points, this course is most near from cetral city and no need to be booked even in weekend which is very attractive for me.

not a bad course for beginners great food can't beat it for less than a thousand bahts and in BKK it's a good veteran course, produces lots of good players when all else fail you can always come back to UNICO and pick things up here like what most Thai players say " a teacher's course" if you didn't have enough of your round don't forget to pick up a free hole par 3 (next to the caddy's) quarter. have fun!!
