Mr Samard - stop talking rubbish! This is a great golf course to walk. Do not assume that everyone is as unfit as you. Please keep the golf cart as optional - this is a beautiful walk. Well done on the condition of the course and the very sensible low season green fee.

Played on a soggy day (12 October) when few golfers were out. This is a beautiful course and a joy to play. The greens were rather slow for my taste but that was probably thanks to the down pour the day before. Had breakfast before and lunch after and both meals were excellent. The summer green fee makes this an outstanding value. This is certainly a top five course in Thailand.

I played this week and there were at least 5 fairways under repair. There were trucks and backhoes and ditches and groups of 4 - 5 workers in the middle of the under repair fairways. Even the greens with topsoil took up half of the green area, so if your 2nd shot was on the topsoil you'd more likely 3 putt. The topsoil dragged down the speed of the ball, and if you compensated for that then you would end up on a downhill part and really mess up your score. I was lucky to land on the correct part of the green, but one guy in our group kept getting unlucky. I only discovered the difficulty of the topsoil putting surface when I landed there myself on one of the final four holes. Caddies should have recommended a "free drop" on the green, no kidding. My caddy kept giving me my putting ball at the tee. The 18th par 5 was shorted to a par 3 (green on the fairway).

Our group of 8 truly enjoyed the golf at this course. We have played quite a few golf courses in Thailand but I will rate this the 2nd behind The Banyan golf course, basically because Banyan has GPS in their buggies which will give you accurate distant to green. Will definitely play here again if in Hua Hin. You will have no regrets playing here. Go for it if you in two minds.

Played there on 29 dec 08 after playing last on jul 07 ... much improved but still not the fuss they make about it. The fairways are extremely tight with barely any grass and quite sandy. The greens were fast and somehow a little unfair. There is no rough at all. The course plays shorter than the score card would suggest as many long holes are downhill. We were lucky it was a cloudy day as the course has only a fee trees for shading. Overall not a course i would play on a regular basis but good enough for a resort. On a minus side, the construction (nordic design?) going around the course does not had positively to the environment ... apart from the caddies you would not know you are in thailand !

Great course in top condition. Main gripe was the tricky super fast greens which even my caddy could not read, though she apologized. Maybe that should be a rule, greens can not be be too tricky for the average caddy. Agree, one man cart policy is annoying.

Played this course a week ago and it was fantastic. One of the best courses I have ever played and I have played many many. DonĀ“t know about speed because it was not busy that day.

One of the best courses I have played, and with the lates changes they are doing know the course will be even more beautiful and more difficult. The food at the restaurant was very good, especially the breakfast. I had 5 rounds on the course and the next holiday there will be more :-)

First thing of note about this course is the road leading up to it. Bring your 4-wheel drive! Have no idea why a very wealthy owner like this guy didn't spend any money to pave a road to his 'championship' course prior to opening, but he didn't. Thus, you are forced to drive in on a washed out dirt road with plenty of big potholes. My friend got a flat tire on his car! The clubhouse and locker room facilities are all top-notch; food is pretty good, too. Turning to the course, the fairways are quite lush and consistent(perhaps grown up a bit to allow for play during this rainy season), while the greens were fantastic - some of the best in Thailand, as good as Amata or Alpine, if not better. Course design, especially the front 9, is fairly wide open, but lots of blind tee shots due with big elevation changes and doglegs. My group thought they had too many blind shots. We enjoyed the back 9 much more, with jaw-dropping views of the Khao Sam Roi Yod area in the distance on several holes. All in all, a pretty enjoyable course, that should only get better when the trees mature and the rest of the project fills in. Caddies were just OK, and we were told by the mgmt that getting staff is tough right now. Strangely, they are not offering any memberships unless you buy one of their properties. At the promotional price of 2,000 baht, this course is decent value for money...but at 4,000 baht (the price after October, or so they say), most people won't feel the same.
