The course was OK, but they are simple Layout, Caddy still no skill, but I think the price so high while I wait for each hole too long, not worth, may be will not come again

Played there this last weekend. Walked all 18 - a lot more hilly than the usual converted paddy field of course, but ok if a little slow.. Good condition, although some bunkers are washed out due to their newness. Greens are fast, but not excessively so - overall the course is very playable. The blind shots are more 'semi' blind and the free course planner helps out - no major hidden surprises. Some very new caddies, as can be expected, buggies are one to a golfer and can be driven on fairways (at present caddies only can drive, as they are ware of where is best to go to protect the course - later should be no problem, cart paths are only around tees and greens). Housing development is also ongoing, not too obstrusive though. Good marshals too - were able to get a 2 ball and a single thru our 4 ball easily and in a friendly manner - played on a saturday and it wasn't busy. The tee time spacing also should help, as long as they continue with it..... At the planned 4000bht (or maybe 5000 after rainy season!) this course will not be 'good value' obviously - the course itself is in no way 'worth' that much, but i imagine the idea is if you do choose to play there, you're paying for the peace and space to either play quickly without holdups or take your time and fit in with the ample spacing between groups. Will be interesting to see if it works out. Worth a visit now before the price increase, anyway!

Watched Royal Trophy here - the comment below was wrong! Thousands turned out to watch! Played the course a week later and in great condition - layout changes made last year are big improvement. Well done to this course for bringing big events to this area. Keep up the good work.

Played 19/7/08 during Thai's long weekends. Although course was fully booked, the traffic was okay. Layouts are pretty hilly with many holes up hills and down hills. I hit some perfect drivers and found myself stood 10 degree downhills which made it quite a difficult 2nd shot. Layouts are great with many different kinds of obstacles, mostly water and bunkers which are stratagically laid throughout the course. Greens are also with a lot of slopes in some holes but in my opinion they are not too difficult. Clubhouses and restaurant are very nice and clean. I would highly recommend this course during the low season while they are renovating hole 10-11 so their promotional price is really worth it!

Played BM again twice this last week. course in excellent shape, and the addition of the new 11Th hole that will open soon, will make the course even better. the new 11Th looks like a Master Piece, appears to be a strong challenge from any tee box when it opens.take advantage of 1000 baht price until September.

This course is ridiculous, rock in the middle of 16th green. can't believe royal trophy would host at this course. they layout is poor design, the caddie and staff has no service. i think no one will come to watch royal trophy here because this course is too hilly and will be unpleasent to walk

Loved this course. Played it twice in 3 days. Superb condition with a huge variety of holes. Both caddies i had were excellent, and knew the greens inside out. Beautiful views on certain holes. Was a pleasure to play. Club house is fantastic too with great food

Played on 21 Aug 08 Superior course. You can see the grand clubhouse as you drive towards the club. Inside the clubhouse are elegant Thai-style design. Just wonder if I am in a massage parlor. The course conditions are great. Excellent fairway and greens. Caddies are friendly yet professional. Layout is good with great variation. A few hole is challenging yet rewarding. Pace is well-managed. The only not-too-bad thing is hole 11 par 3 is under relayout and some property are under construction along hole 11 & 12. My caddie said there is no flowers in the course. But I found the red plants decorate the course nicely. Nice food. I ordered the black mountain pasta which is really delicious. Must play course in Thailand! And don't forget to pick up the nice Course Guide booklet. The info are superb for par!

I absolutely love this course. I think it's the best in Hua Hin. It's not too far to drive and well signposted. The greens are nice and fast and roll very true. The course is in excellent condition and the current price is hard to beat. The only downside is that hole 11 isn't into play yet so there's a temporary green on 10 and a funky 11 from the house's lawn. All the staff is very professional, nice driving range, beautiful locker room and excellent food in the club house. Once the trees, shrubs and flowers have grown, it'll be a fantastic place.
