Played in last week of November 2009 early morning. A "must" for visitors in Northern Thailand, because it is the No.1. Unfortunately is the attitude against non-golfing visitors is a matter of re-thinking. We (a group of three players) had paid 600 THB extra for my non-golfing wife, who joined us for a round. No Golf Course around the World (and I played many High Class courses), are charging any fees for visitors except in Thailand obviously. Siggi (Handicap 9.2)

played there twice in August. Great course, definitely one of the best in Thailand. Beautiful clubhouse with great spa. Always a pleasure to go there.

i played here jan 12, it was a pleasure to play. the course was in quite good condition with excellent bunker placements. there were numerous teeing positions, just pick the one that suits your ability. good value for money. my caddy was useless, i doubt that she had any training. a new course with potential.

I am a Chiangmai local and I play Highlands about 3 - 4 times per month. The course has been in fantastic condition since it opened. I don't like to book a caddy so I get a different one each time out and I believe they are improving considerably. I read most of the blogs on this site for CM courses so I understand golfers concerns but in this case the entire property is improving from the caddies through the restaurant service. The housing project will be interesting to see if they can sell out. Thailand has a reputation for never quite following through on these types of projects.

I'm a friend of "Rookie to C' Mai". I agree that the course, caddies and such added to our experience but the price didn't. These rates are okay for BKK but for C' Mai and C' Rai its too much to play regularly.

played in November early morning. Still the best course in Chiang Mai.
