Played there a few weeks ago at the weekend. Slow, slow, slow and even slower. The course has become really popular, but this makes it too busy. Always groups of 5,6 or sometimes 7. We normally play a 3some or 4 some, but there doesn't seem to be any golfing etiquette (in Thailand) so expect a long slow round if you play weekends. Weekdays, you have the course to yourself(well thats what it feels like) maybe 40 golfers over 36 holes (groups of 5 or 6) so it feels like your own private course. Greens and fairways are improving and cutting back the rough a lot.

Played 3 rounds in 2 days on what I considered to be a great course. Greens & fairways were in excellent condition. Long walks between greens & tees but in December, this was not a problem. April / May might be different with the heat. Had good caddies. Some memorable holes (all the par 3's & 3 of the par 5's) This course however has great potential to mess it all up because the 10th hole is no where near the club-house and requires a lift or a long drive in a cart. Many people were starting their round at the 8th hole par 3 and then wanting to play through at the 1st to finish their round.!! Starters were competent but then it wasn't that busy. Pace of play will be slow when its busy, due to many difficult shots and the ubiquitous 5 ball. Was it worth the drive to get there, yes.

Just been there the last 48 hrs. Rather impressive with the lake. Found out the reason why it's called "Blue Sapphire", with bluey greenish sapphirelike colour of water in the lake makes this beautiful mountain background course perfect for eye-sight. Food is excellent. No comments on caddies cau' it depends on luck as well. I give a 1 very low mark for green quality because most greens are top soiled right now (rather frustrated). Could be very hot right now though not too bad for a goft craze. Recommend not to stay the night on the boat house cau' it's damn hot. Otherwise a perfect place to be worth paying a visit again and again.

Played Friday Dec 3rd behind a busload of Koreans. Was exasperatingly slow. Starter & caddies spoke very little English and was unable to explain that we couldn't start on the back 9 due to the fact it's nowhere near the clubhouse. After the first 9, we ended up walking past the Koreans and played about 4 or 5 holes on the back. Hole 11 looked like an interesting downhill par 3 but didn't get to play it. No marshall around to speed things up. Has good potential but the operations definitely need improvement.

Played there during Songkran promotion . Courses are in good condition except greens in A,B had topsoiling but not too bad, only green speed much different in each holes. C&D are OK. May be April is not Korean season so playing speed was OK, 5 hours for 18 hilly course. To spend whole day for 36 holes from 7am. to 6 am. with 1500 bht can not say not worth for your money
