I played there on October 2013. It was a weekday so the course was pretty quiet. We played A and B in the morning and then played C and D in the afternoon. The course was in pretty good condition although one green was out of action due to them working on it. We just had to skip that hole. C and D should only be played by good players (which I am not). There are long carries to fairways and for me a lot of wet golf balls. Also all the par 3s are the same, water all the way from tee to green which is quite boring. The caddies were adaquate and it is good value for money.

Played AB course on 15 Nov.2013, and CD course on 16 Nov. 2013. Courses layout was challenging, but maintenance was quite poor. On 16 Nov. Saturday, It was raining on and off. Play was very slow because there was a group of six Thai golfers in front of us. We gave up after hole No.12. It was very frustrating. Some Korean golfers in carts were trying to cut in between holes. Had to chase them away.Informed reception about the group in front. They were surprised and informed that six golfers are not allowed on weekends. Apparently, there was no official or starter at Hole 1 & 10 to check. This is poor management.
We stayed overnight on 15 Nov. The condition of our accommodation is not up to standard. It was not value for money.Blue Sapphire Resort need to improve on its facilities in order to attract customers. Proper control on the golf course by marshals is very important to regulate the flow of play.
Will try and return to play Course CD on a fine day, but definitely won't stay the night.

A superb setting for a golfcourse, really outstanding views and landscape. The course is extremely challenging for a novice (take plenty of cheap lake balls!) There is a great deal of water on the course and the fairways are very narrow. I stayed overnight and there is very little to do in the evening, satellite TV but very little in English. Rooms lack tea and coffee making facilities and are a bit basic. Overall a great place toplay golf, but take a laptop and a couple of DVDs and some tea/coffee, milk and sugar, the reception has a kettle.

Delightful playing there! The layout is the most challenging I have faced in Thailand, yet every now and then you find a couple of holes that let you breath and put your game together and keep fighting the course. Absolutely beautiful, water plays nicely in a lot of holes. Tell caddies you want to play course C too, or they will take you to A and B by default. C is the most challenging 9 holes I ever played. Played from blue tees, truly great. The recepion is messy, they don't really know waht they are doing there, but at least, they have an attitude service, just be patient!
