Great course spolied by allowing tour groups on. Speed of play is appalling, over 5 hours sometimes.

Played as a guest on 5 Aug 04 morning. Hardly anyone on the course, so speed of play was not a problem. Caddies excellent with good reading of the greens. Course is over-rated, I feel, but the clubhouse has an exclusive feel about it. Well kept but not as picturesque as some of the other courses. Guest rates are value for money. Longer hitters will have no problem off the black tees.

Played in Dusit competition here. I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised. Greens so fast but so true. Maybe if they were a little more 'receptive' to the ball and not quite so hard, but wow! a real challenge. Fairways, tee's, greens all perfect. Great design, great caddies. Really a fantastic golfing experience and one I will not forget. I have been lucky enough to play Amata Springs and Thai Country Club, but for the course itself I think Alpine is my new number 1. What a shame it is members only and I cannot afford the fees!!!!!!

Excellent course the best I've played in Thailand after courses like Lam Lukka, Laem Chabang, Thai CC etc. Greens are immaculate and challenging, the course layout is mature and very interesting, you can't expect low scores hitting driver on every hole. Caddies excellent with detailed layout pictures of each hole.

Definitely one of the best course in Thailand. I like almost everything there including nice caddies and very kind staffs except so fast greens.

I also attended Dusit tournament on Dec 17 and it was a very fantastic experience. Greens and fairways conditions were the best of best and course layout was so unique that you can't find even a similar course in BKK. I heard from the staff that this course was selected one of top 3 asian courses last year and I absolutely agree with that.I've tried most of courses in bkk including Amata, Thai c.c., Lakewood, Nawatanee, and Rajpruek, but, I have to admit that Alpine is definitely the best among them. I'll try to find any of alpine members around me to try there again!!!

Very nice couse. How good? Teeing grounds in Alpine are better than the greens of some poor courses! But, the goods in pro shop looks too expensive...An magnet marker was 750baht. Anyway, really enjoyed game.
