march 11. 2008 I had the pleasure to visit Victory Park for 1 week in march. It was a very nice course, with nice i mean, good course for low budget, not many people playing. If consider you have to pay from 3-5000 bath elsewhere in Thailand, this course cost ab 1000 bath incl. caddy fee. wow, I even met a cobra 2-3 meters long, it was lying on tee! Very nice people working at the course, pleasent experience.

My partner & I played 36 holes in the day of our visit, the course was great, we followed two young pro's for the first 18 holes and our morning round was a real pleasure. In the afternoon we got behind a 5 ball of Thai players who would not let us through, it's not the first time this has happened to us in Thailand & we feel this bad etiquette needs to be pointed out so hopefully the course managers can educate the slow 4, 5 & 6 ball groups to let through fast playing 2 balls! Caddies were very poor.

Nice course, wide open, forgiving fairways. A bit damp, due to current rainy season. Traps flooded & muddy. Some greens punched & sanded. My Caddy's english not very good. Best to speak nitnoy Thai.

I've heard that fees have gone up but, according to the published fees, it is a great deal. I've played this course numerous times and it is one of my favorites. The greens are awesome.

We played in January several times. The course an the caddies are very well. The only one problême are Korean people playing very slowely. They olso never will let pass through so that it is impossible to play a good round of golf. All the facilities of the place are ok. We will get back but before informe us how many Korean people stay on the course

Played here last week and enjoyed the course very much. Its not too difficult, in very good condition, caddies were very good. We stayed the night, 1000 baht for a lovely room by the pool and overlooking the 18th fairway. The prices are certainly nothing like those on the thaigolfer website. 900 weekday, 1200 weekends for Farlang (cheaper for Thais) + 200 for caddy. Buggies 400, although only one set of clubs allowed per buggy. We had trouble finding the turn off from the main highway as there is no sign (there are once you are off the main road). If you are coming from Udon Thani you have to do a u turn past the turn off for Tha Bo. I will certainly go back when I'm in Udon next.

A well laid out course off the beat and path (really off). The nearest international airport is Vientiene, Laos or Udon Thani (50 Km). Great caddies (if the mood is light, not tense). Play was a bit slow, because they (Thai golf) do a "call hole" where the next group on the tee can "call" to hit onto the par three you are on the green with. I don't like that. Other than that, a great place (if there isn't a tournament going on).
