nice little gem in the middle of nowhere, but well worth the drive, particularly midweek.

Service at restaurant was horrible but food was good. Enjoyed playing here. The locker facilities seem to be very minimal (small lockerroom, small lockers, few showers, which was suprising considering the beautiful course. Caddies were quite young (14-15 y.o.) and inexperienced but their exuberant personality should count for something (that is why a rating of 2).

Renovated this G. Player's designed course very well. Not too difficult but very good course. The fee right now is not expensive at all. Hope that this course will NOT be envaded by golf crazy Koreans during winter time, who make the course and club house dirty and noisy. They talk too LOUD!

Just played LVGR today (February 22nd 2009) and to my surprise, it's a pretty tough course. Fairways are beautiful but quite narrow and greens are very undulating compared to most courses. I would say this course is really nicely maintained. Very satisfied with everything seen in the Club House as it's nicely built. Halfway houses too! Caddy does everything superbly except line reading as for now. But I still enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Great looking course. Was there for a tournament sponsored by Mercedes (as an invite), so fairways and greens were in PERFECT condition. However, was told by others that the course is well maintained throughout the year. We played from the tips, so it was fairly challenging. Par 3 17th played 230 yds into a diagonal blowing wind (whoever chose that hole as the closest to the pin hole has a great sense of humor!). Playing from the rough was extremely penalizing (usually at least a stroke). Greens were not as fast as I like, but EXTREMELY subtle and difficult to read. Even by the end of the round, I still hadn't figured them out. My caddie was the worst i've had in Thailand. Didn't know yardages, nor could she read breaks (gave me completly opposite breaks twice). Anytime I asked for a second opinion on yardage, she usually pretended to look for a post and say 'about that'. Had a great time. Felt like I was on a "real" golf course.

Just played yesterday and I have to say that greens and fairways are in fantastic condition. Driving is another story as going thru narrow and badly condition roads nearby golf course. Would I go back? YES.
