Played there today in a competition, Thailand Seniors. Considering that it was a shotgun play was very fast. There are no 100/150/200 Yard markers. The caddies know some yardage, eg from the big tree etc. My caddie was pretty useless on distance and had worked there for four years. However my wifes caddie was good. Greens now good unlike previous reports. Fairways also good and bunkers the best quality of sand that I have played in recently. had to show caddie how to rake..pity anyone landing in her raking!

Played day/night golf. Very slow due to many 5-somes, and 4 groups waiting to tee off at the start of the second nine (no priority for groups finishing 18 holes). Staff couldn't care less about farrangs. Wouldn't bother going back.

I played the course on a Sunday morning (May 20. 2007) and was paired up with the owner of the course. It was very interesting and I had a good day of golf, the course is beautiful but the greens might be better kept/cut. My caddie (407) was very good with good advice and sense of the course. I would recommend this golf course to others playing around Bangkok.

My god...I don't know why so many of our blog associates rate this course so low (I respect all the comments). But I only been to this course at night (Pinehurst is just one of the few courses in Bangkok that offers night golf). But from experience (night golf), it's amazing, the spotlights are blazing (no problem in playing - even if you loose the ball, you can still find it). Because of this experience (it might be different if I played at daytime), I would recommend all of you to try the night golf. I was impressed - once you try night golf, you don't want to play in the sun ever again.
