Played on Thursday. I cannot believe the constant noise everywhere on this course. It is always noisy. Muffler-less trucks on the cart paths, TV's, motorcycles, radios...even the drinks girls had their tinny phone radios turned on. In the parking lot a taxi driver was waiting with his doors open and his radio on full blast. Course design is un-inspired.

We playednighgolf at Pinehurst yesterday togethere with two thai friends. They paid a greenfee at 960, while we as faranf had to pay 1300!!! I can not believe that such a nice Golf Course has such discriminating rules- we live here and ar students, and still we ahve to pay more than those filthy rich Thai people that plyas here- just beacuse we are farang. That is so rude and unproffesional!

Went there on Fri night... speed was surprisingly good. But most part of the fairway was very wet... not flooded... but very very wet (perhaps b'cos it had been raining for the past three days). Caddy was OK though she forgot to put my umbrella back into my bag... so my umbrella is now with her. Will definitely go back again... (for the umbrella, of course)

I went golfing on 21/2/47 in the evening. They have promotion green fee for thai residents after 4pm. The fairway and the green is very nice, but not that difficult. The clubhouse is excellant.

Played night golf on Friday March 17th. 1. Greens were baaaaddddd. Bumpy and slowwwwww. 2. Speed of play: Terrible. Don't know how they manage the traffic. Had to wait for 4 group at the turn (From South to North course) 3. Lighting were not enough for few tee boxes. 4. Caddies were O.K. The course is overused. Looks so beaten-up. Way too much money to ask for if this is the best they could do to maintain the course. Will never go back and spend my own money there.

Never will play here again Boring layout, fairways like the rough, so easy does not matter and highway robbery for the green fees considering the value that other courses in this area provide. Surviving on the tourist trade and seems to be happy to do so

I have played here more often this year. Very convenient and easy to get to. A fairly easy course (too easy...) that doesn't punish errant shots too harshly. A lot of water around, but you won't be in trouble unless you really mishit the ball. This is a good course for a high handicapper. The greens are in relatively poor shape and the course looks overused (it is!). Tee boxes need to be trimmed as the grass is quite high on some of them. Play was relatively fast given the huge numbers of people playing today (on a Sunday). Caddy's were pleasant and competent. Good value for money if you use a discount card like RS as I only had to pay about 1750 including caddy fee on a Sunday!

I have played at Pinehust before and decided to take an overseas friend there. It was his first time playing golf in Thailand. Condition of the course was acceptable despite heavy rain from the previous days. However, the experience with the caddies and golf carts was extremely disappointing. The golf carts we were assigned were old and scary. The gas pedal went to the metal and stayed. Steering wheel had about 30 degrees free play. Performance of the caddies was average at best. I tipped them Baht300 to share, and it was outright refused by one of the caddies. She claimed the club did not pay them salaries and demanded more tips. Somewhat embarrassed, my friend took out a Baht1,000 bill, and she said, 'Ah, that's OK'. I have played golf in Thailand many times, and that was the first time ever that I came across such distasteful experience. If Pinehurst is indeed not paying some form of salaries to its caddies whilst charging a caddy fee, perhaps it should review its policy, or at least offer an option to players not to use the caddy service.
