Large waste bukers make this course interesting, enough but not too much water. Interesting mix of holes. Fairways were okay but greens were a little poor. Caddies in general were not good with very little course knowledge. Food was good. Speed of play was very good with a 4-ball playing in around 4.5 hours (with drinks stops).

Visitors, be aware. This golf course is in serious need of some maintenance. Fairways are poor, weed is growing in the bunkers etc. The greens are OK, but that's about it. Not very crowded, it is obvious the word is beginning to spread...

The course management is very greedy, have a lot of walk in golfers/tourists to play cuase the delay and jam at the whole course. Have to wait for caddies in the morning round finished coz bad organized! Played on Sat 1st March 2003.

Typical Nicklaus's style, heaven or hell, reward or penalty. 9 holes with bunkers, the other 9 with water hazards. Most of time, your 2nd shot need a middle or long iron, and you need high green regulation, or water or bunkers wait for the balls! How can I say? If you plan to play at Panya Indra, my honest suggestion is: maybe Legacy is a better choice!

Overall, it is one of good course here in Thailand. Fairways are fun and well taken care of. They are quite flat... Green is tricky and speedy. Clubhouse is a bit small and old compare to the others. Green Free is not bad on Sunday. Absolutely worth to try. Surely you will be impressed.

Ofcourse a very nice Nicklaus design. Characteristic driving holes en difficult par 3's. But... Maintanance was very very poor. Must said that it had rained a lot the previous days, but the bunkers were unplayable. Rock hard beach sand. Fairways have multiple kinds of types of grass. Lot of cow grass in chipping area's. Greens were so-so. If you are looking for a challenging course (play backtee's) go here. But if you want (top) maintainance go elsewhere...

All greens were in repair. Fairways were too solid; very difficult to hit a good shot with an iron.

If you have played in other Jack Nicklaus courses, you will find this course familiar. Good course and quite well maintained. The caddy gave me the wrong distance at the last hole and I hit the ball in the water. I learned later he was new.
