After the latest renovation which took almost 3 years Thai Muang course is now in a very good condition and lots of fun to play here. Lay out and the environ of this seaside golf course can be easily compare with any course in Phuket.

The gree-fee for tourists is too high. The conditions of the course should be improved and green-fee should go down!!!

Played on weekend. Got weary after the first few holes. The whole course needs a makeover. Only plus side is the beautiful isolation from the nearest human.

I'm not a huge fan of this course, but it has its good points. The design is interesting and there are few people on the course allowing you to play fast (or take as much time as you want). The course, clubhouse etc. needs to be better maintained if they want to justify their green fee.

After a long dry period, the course is in much better shape, then one could expect. Greens are a liitle bumbpy but very fast. New management seems to be putting a lot of work and effort into making the golf course even better than it is now. Beginners may struggle a little bit due to the fact that course is quite difficult (Dye Design), but will appreciate, that not too many people play. Good players will love the course... (March 2002)

In the past I played this course with my thaigolfercard, so the value of money has been okay. Now I heard that this golf course already is closed for several months and years. It will be completly rebuilt in more than two years. In future it will be more luxurious and also more expensive as I suspect. I'm very sad. We liked that course near Khao Lak more than Tablamu.

Played this course today. If we would not have used the thai golfer card (payed 1100 Baht green fee) it would have been a disaster. They usually take 2200 Baht. For a not at all maintained course (half of the fairways were sand and no grass at all) its simply too much. It is a big pitty sicnce the course design itsself is world class standard with a lots of bunkers and water, ondulated fairways and greens. I talked to a member who told me that the course was in much better condition up to September last year. I hope it recovers.

Fairway is in worst condition. Many were ruined by million of small worms that fairway grass was eaten and became a fairway mud after rain. For local Thai, green fee is Baht 800 excluding Baht 200 for caddy. The 18th and only hole that is next to the sea is nice and on a windy day, you will have fun. Cheers,
