What a great course to play on. Don't expect country club quality, but the course is so different and interesting that it makes up for all the bad points it scored, like the terrible caddies who cannot give clear direction on the layout of each hole for first time visitors like us, the chattering carts that barely drove, the lack of drink stations etc. But I enjoyed this challenging and curvy course, with a few of the holes hugging the beach, very scenic. Afterall, how often do you get to say when you play golf, you are safeguarded by soldiers with M16 upon entering the front gate of the course. I would come back here again next time I'm back in Khao Lak for sure.

It is a good course, then the tourists from Phuket dont play of this place. The caddies are friendly. The 3 holes on the ocean are great.

91 Km. from Phuket (Muang) or about 50 Km. from Sarasin Bridge, so if you stay inner of Phuket, please prepare for long drive. Fairway is okay, by raw nature no decorating. Green is okay, except for hole 14 and hole 15 (I'm not sure) green condition is terrible, so they're needed to repair ASAP. Layoput is so-so but if you play on the afternoon, you have to fight with strong wind from the sea shore, especially hole 16 to hole 18. Overall, it's worth once to take a long drive tp play over there (twice is not sure) with fair green fee and nice serviced caddie!

This course has elements of a great golf course but way under developed. Played on September 5th, 2003 there were only 5 or less green in playing condition the rest is considered bunkers (lots of sand pits on them). Beautiful natuaral location. World class beauty for No 17th. Need serious deveelopment fast.

WOW! They did a very very good job, building up the course again completely new after the tsunami had destroyed nearly every fairway. The manager of the course told us, that they have contracted a professional golf course bulding company and spent 30 million Baht to reconstruct it. The course was compeltely rebuild (new fairways and greens), design was changed a little bit (better than before). From most of the holes you can see the sea now and there is usually a light wind in the afternoon. We played the course several times this week and like it every much. Green fee is 1600 Baht, but due to the still recovering fairways and greens (course should really be perfect next season) Monday and Friday is sports day, green fee 500 Baht only. They have special packages if one wants to play several times (10 rounds for 8000 Baht). Caddies we had spoke english and were very engaged and helpful.

Played the course during the last days several times. Staff is very friendly. Fairways are o.k., course layout is good. Greens are in a medium condition, covered with sand, speed on greens is hard to estimate. Nevertheless, godd value for money. BTW: Green fee is 800 Baht for 18 holes and 180 for the caddie. 9 holes may be played as well, fees are half then. Have a nice game!
