Hello!

I want to thank everyone who participated in the “Endless Summer Classic” this past Saturday at the Subhapruek Golf Club.  After a few last minute additions and subtractions we ultimately had 49 golfers.

From all the feedback that we have already received, this Tournament was a big success!  Aside from the temporary tee on Hole #15’s Straight Drive Hole, the course was in fantastic condition.  Even through the rain the course maintained its near perfect form.  I was even pleasantly surprised at the turn because there was not the usual backlog of extra players that other courses tend to jam-in to make extra green fees!  Also, I thought the banquet room and Thai buffet lunch that Subhapruek provided were excellent.

 

I would again like to send hearty “CONGRATULATIONS” to Riley Bates and Wilfred Fan.  Riley was our overall Tournament Champion (84; Net 64) and Wilfred was Low Gross Score Winner (76).  What I find most amazing and satisfying, as one of the tournament organizers, was both Riley and Wilfred scored their very best scores of all-time!  To me that is what these monthly tournaments are all about.  The tournament was a fun-filled competition at an excellent venue that brought out the very best from our Tournament Winners.

Finally, I would like to send a special “Thank You” to the Tournament Organizers (Mary Eliades, Kevin Blair, Alistair Cooke and Jack Kousaie).  Without all their efforts this tournament would not have been as good as it was.

I look forward to seeing you at the “Fall Tradition” at the Vintage Club on Saturday, September 14.  Please remember to register early so we can get a good firm count of golfers.
